Get to Know Fivian: Where Family and Flavour Collide 🚀

Hi Foodies! Have you too heard about Fivian and want to know more about it? Well, this post will tell you everything about its inception. So grab a Fivian and buckle up for a sweet sweet flight!

The name Fivian originated from the sound of 'V5,' which essentially stands for 'we 5,' representing the five members of our family. V5 has always been our WhatsApp group name. I wanted this brand to truly be OUR brand, so after a LOT of brainstorming, Fivian was born. The name came to be on the 10th of June 2023 and was introduced to the public on the 17th of September.

My mother has had her business for many years, and suddenly I was interested in trying something with my own touch. People are surprised when they find out that I don’t know how to cook and say that I should be following in my very talented mother’s footsteps. Well, now they’ll be happy to know, I have indeed finally followed in my mother’s footsteps - I have become an entrepreneur..! Haha, no, not a chef yet.

With my mother handling the Production Wing, my father taking care of the Accounts Wing, and myself managing the Marketing Wing, our business 'plane' took off... oh, of course, my brothers are the 'taste testers' onboard!

Our first product was milkshakes. The classic glass bottle milkshake was a very cool idea to me, I was already dreaming even before the name came to be. Our Classic Flavours were launched one by one - Oreo, Strawberry, and Butterscotch. We expanded into the Exotic Flavours of Blackcurrant Milkshake and Cold Coffee. (Our menu is ever-expanding, so stay connected on social media for updates and delicious surprises!) Our second product was something that had been on my mother's mind for the past two years but had never materialised. But with just a little bit of determination and hard work, my mother made it a reality within a week - TRUFFLE BALLS! Our second product, with a whole array of ten flavours, was launched.

All our products are handmade with love and care. I like to call our milkshakes ‘cool, smooth, and tasty’, and the truffle balls ‘soft, creamy, and yummy’.

For the future of Fivian, we have envisioned my mother's iconic homemade chocolate bars in several flavours. Sandwiches, pizzas, perhaps burgers, and many more treats are on the horizon.

My idea for the brand's personality revolves around the galaxy and space. I had an idea of us five being stars in a constellation and after a single Google search, I found Cassiopeia - a constellation with five bright stars. Maybe in the future, we can have an astronaut as a mascot… (I may have just given away a spoiler).
